At ORKC, we believe in rescue dogs! How far can you go with a rescue dog? We would love for you to try our training classes to find out. So, we offer a discount of $20 for one obedience class to any dog adopted from a shelter or rescue. All you have to do is include this information when registering for your class, then send a copy of your adoption papers, either via e-mail or snail mail, to our registrar so she can make sure you get your discount.

- Steve Ritz adopted his beautiful Ellie from the Oak Ridge Animal Shelter.
- Mari Carlson’s rescue Brownie! Brownie’s mother was abandoned by a family in an abusive relationship and ended up in a home where she unexpectedly gave birth to a litter of puppies. Brownie is the product of her mother’s past. She is happy now!!!
- Laura Adcock rescued her precious Bubba at five weeks old and nursed him back to health from worms and fleas. What a vibrant boy he is today!
